Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Touchwood Entertainm, Jindal Saw, Advitiya Trade India, Bombay Super Hybrid and Upsurge Seeds of Agriculture Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:04AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 171.65 points to 17720.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as GTL Ltd, GTL Infra, Dixon Tech, DiGiSPICE Tech and Kiri Industries, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 16 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Dr. Reddys, Cipla and ITC were among top gainers, while Adani Ports SEZ, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Adani Ent. and HDFC Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 609.77 points down at 59595.29 at 10:04AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Tobacco and ReIT sectors, while selling was visible in Glass, Textiles, Infrastructure, Cables and Tyres sectors.
