AgenciesNEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Tuesday.
Shares of Brigade Enterprises(up 3.76 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 2.42 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.58 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 1.56 per cent) and DLF(up 0.93 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills(down 4.86 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.09 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.4 per cent up at 440.85.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 86.8 points at 17577.5, while the BSE Sensex stood up 257.43 points at 59031.3.
Shares of Suzlon Energy, Zomato Ltd., YES Bank, Vodafone Idea and Tata Steel were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Shanthi Gears, Selan Expl Tech, Apar Industries, Premier Exp and Kokuyo Camlin hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Karda Const, Future Enterprises, Agni Green Power Ltd., GVK Power Infra and OrissaBengalCarrier hit their fresh 52-week lows.
