Sensex surges! Stocks that gained 10% or more

NEW DELHI: Domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were trading in green on Tuesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Eco Recycling ( 14.33 per cent) , Emmbi Industries ( 13.44 per cent) , Shilchar Tech ( 11.42 per cent) , Precision Wires ( 10.02 per cent) , IIFL Finance ( 9.99 per cent) , MSTC ( 9.98 per cent) , Remsons Industries ( 9.97 per cent) , Indbank Merchant Banking ( 9.96 per cent) , Vipul Organics ( 9.94 per cent) and KNR Constructions ( 9.82 per cent) rallied over 10 per cent.

The 30-share Sensex was 949.73 points up at 49550.34 on Tuesday, while the 50-share Nifty index was trading 273.95 points higher at 14555.15.

In the Nifty 50 index, 40 stocks were trading in the green, while 10 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as KNR Constructions, Finolex Industries, Tata Motors, PNC Infratech, Tata Motors (DVR), Ashok Leyland, Larsen & Toubro, ABB India and UltraTech Cement hit their fresh 52-week high during the day. However, Ahlada Engineers touched its new 52-week low in trade.
