    Stocks in the news: RIL, Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, Dr Reddy's Labs and BHEL

    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 81.50 points, or 0.82 per cent lower at 9,860.50, in signs that Dalal Street was headed for a negative start on Monday. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Tata Motors, Pfizer: Tata Motors, Ashoka Buildcon, Can Fin Home, CSB Bank, JK Tyre, Pfizer, Shalby, Shoppers Stop and Ramky Infra are among companies which will announce March quarter results on Monday.

    Reliance Industries: Two more investors TPG and L Catterton will invest a total of Rs 6,441 crore in Jio Platforms, making the recent number of investment deals in the telecom venture to 10 in less than two months.

    Vodafone Idea: Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund said it has received an interest payment of about Rs 103 crore from Vodafone Idea, which will be distributed among investors in proportion to their holdings in the plans of the segregated portfolios.

    Dr Reddy's Laboratories: The drug maker announced it has entered into a non-exclusive Licensing Agreement with Gilead Sciences, Inc. that will grant the city-based drug maker right to register, manufacture and sell Gilead's investigational drug, Remdesivir, a potential treatment for Covid-19.

    BHEL: The state-run reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 1,532.18 crore for the March quarter compared with a profit of Rs 680.77 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. Analysts were largely expecting an up to 65 per cent drop in profit.

    RIL partly paid shares: Partly-paid shares of Reliance Industries' rights issue may list in Rs 720-760 levels on bourses on Monday, said analysts. The shares with a face value of Rs 2.50 will be listed under the ISIN code of IN9002A01024 and scrip ID of RELIANCEPP.

    Allcargo Logistics: The largest private sector player in the segment, expects to be debt-free by December when it will conclude the sale of its warehousing unit to private equity major Blackstone.

    Spandana Sphoorty Financial: Non-banking finance company said it will raise up to Rs 100 crore by issuing bonds on a private placement basis. The decision was taken at a meeting of the management committee of the board on Saturday, it said in a regulatory filing.

    Mahindra Lifespace Developers: Realty firm Mahindra Lifespace Developers is actively looking at acquiring four to seven land parcels this fiscal with sales potential of Rs 2,000 crore as land deals have become more attractive, a top company official said.

    Jet Airways: The NCLT has allowed Jet Airways to sell its premises in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) to settle Rs 360 crore dues of mortgage lender HDFC, clear overseas debt and cover corporate insolvency resolution process costs.

    Hindalco Industries: The company posted a 43.2 per cent decline in consolidated profit to Rs 668 crore for the last quarter of 2019-20 due to lower income on Friday, said it will cut down capital expenditure and maintain debt level till the coronavirus crisis is over.

    Eicher Motors: The company reported a 44.22 per cent decline in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 304 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2020.

    MCX: The largest commodities bourse has decided to accept gold and silver bars refined at domestic refineries for deliveries, subject to final regulatory approval.

    Grasim Industries: The Aditya Birla Group firm said its financial performance in the April-June quarter will be significantly impacted due to the coronavirus lockdown and it is reviewing its capital expenditure plans.

    Triveni Turbine: The company has reported over 51 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 13.78 crore for March quarter, mainly due to lower revenues. The company's net profit was Rs 28.27 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2019..

    NMDC: The company, which had to stop work at Bacheli mine in Chhattisgarh following the state government's intervention, has resumed mining activity at the iron ore complex, a senior company official said.

    PNB Housing Finance: The HFC reported net loss of Rs 242.06 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, mainly due to higher provisioning amid COVID pandemic. The housing finance company (HFC) had registered a net profit of Rs 379.77 crore during January-March quarter in 2018-19.

    Dalmia Bharat: The cement maker reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 24 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 263 crore during the January-March quarter previous fiscal, Dalmia Bharat.

    REC: State-owned non-banking finance firm REC said its Director (Technical) Sanjeev Kumar Gupta has taken the additional charge as Chairman and Managing Director of the company.

    SAIL: Chairman Anil Kumar Chaudhary is in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19, sources said on Saturday.The total number of COVID cases in SAIL's corporate office here has grown five-fold to 25, they added.

    Lumax Auto Technologies: Auto component maker said its proposed acquisition of OK Play Group's roto molded plastic business for around Rs 150 crore has been put on hold due to coronavirus pandemic.
