Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(Rs. 643.01 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 590.78 crore), RIL(Rs. 375.37 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 306.34 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 268.97 crore), HDFC(Rs. 258.18 crore), Aditya Birla Cap.(Rs. 247.66 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 224.37 crore), Apollo Hospital(Rs. 203.89 crore) and Tata Steel(Rs. 190.23 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 72.75 points up at 18635.5, while BSE Sensex was up 238.14 points at 62742.94 as of 10:19AM(IST)on November 29.

In the Nifty index, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 2.27 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.00 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.76 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.68 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 0.80 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.70 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.70 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 0.60 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 0.31 per cent) were among the top losers.
