    The century old private lender Tamilnad Mercantile Bank will make its debut at Dalal Street on Thursday. Its had raised Rs 831.6 crore via its IPO between September 5-7 by selling its shares in the range of Rs 500-525.

    Stocks in buzz: Tata Power, Balalji Amines, IDBI Bank, HFCL, KPI Green Energy, Future Enterprises and more
    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 10.5 points, or 0.06 per cent higher at 18,000.5, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a flat start on Thursday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Tamilnad Mercantile Bank:
    The century old private lender will make its debut at Dalal Street on Thursday. Its had raised Rs 831.6 crore via its initial public offering (IPO) between September 5-7 by selling its shares in the range of Rs 500-525. Ahead of listing, it was trading at a mild premium of Rs 10-12 in the grey market.

    Tata Steel: The steel major said it will raise Rs 2,000 crore through issuance of non-convertible debentures on private placement basis. In a regulatory filing, it said that its committee of directors constituted by the Board of Directors on September 14 approved the issue of debt securities in the form of NCDs.

    Vedanta: The mining and minerals major has emerged as the highest bidder for two coal mines in Odisha on the second day of commercial coal mines auction. The government put on sale 10 coal mines under the commercial coal mine auction on Tuesday and Wednesday.

    Tata Power: The Tata Group's utility arm said that it has inked a pact to develop a 4-MWp solar project at Tata Motors' Pune plant. Tata Motors and Tata Power have entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to develop a 4-MWp on-site solar project at Tata Motors' Pune commercial vehicle manufacturing facility.

    Balaji Amines: The specialty chemicals firm said that the first Phase of 90-acre greenfield project (Unit IV) has been completed. The di-methyl carbonate, propylene carbonate, and propylene glycol plant will be ready to commence commercial production by the end of September 2022.

    IDBI Bank: DIPAM Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey on Wednesday said the department is working on the Expression of Interest (EoI) and would soon invite preliminary bids from investors for the privatisation of the lender.

    GR Infraprojects:
    The promoters of the roads and highway maker- Laxmi Devi Agarwal, Suman Agarwal, Ritu Agarwal, Lalita Agarwal, Sangeeta Agarwal, Kiran Agarwal and Manish Gupta will be selling up to 57,04,652 equity shares or 5.9 per cent stake in the company via offer for sale on September 15-16. The floor price has been fixed at Rs 1,260 apeice.

    HFCL: The telecom gear maker has received the advance purchase orders worth Rs 447.81 crore, consisting of Rs 341.26 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL), and Rs 106.55 crore from RailTel Corporation of India.

    KPI Green Energy:
    The renewable energy player said it has inked power purchase agreements to supply a total of 15.88 MW wind-solar hybrid power from its projects to six companies. It has signed new long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) for sale of 15.88 MW (electricity from its) wind-solar hybrid power projects.

    Future Enterprises: The cash strapped firm said its consolidated net loss widened to Rs 2,295.90 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2022 due to factors including failure of the deal with Reliance, attrition of employees and litigations. The company had posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 281.76 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago.
