Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 26.82 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 18.91 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 14.23 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 12.84 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 11.77 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 8.89 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 7.12 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 5.16 crore), Inventure Grwth(numbers of share traded: 4.99 crore) and Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 4.81 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 174.35 points up at 17798.75, while BSE Sensex ended up 659.31 points at 59688.22.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.84 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.63 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.00 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
