Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Friday at 10:04AM

Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 3.54%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 2.56%), Sikko Industries(up 2.16%), Aries Agro(up 1.00%), Agro Phos(up 0.86%), KRISHANA(up 0.76%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.26%) and ZUARIAGRO(up 0.06%) were among the top gainers.

Rama Phosphates(down 3.13%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 2.51%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 2.32%), Madras Fertlizers(down 1.62%), National Fertilizer(down 1.31%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.08%), G S F C(down 0.73%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.73%), Coromandel International(down 0.60%) and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.58%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 8.45 points down at 18099.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 37.7 points at 60820.73 at around 10:04AM.

Coal India(up 1.76%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.11%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.02%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.97%), HDFC(up 0.93%), State Bank of India(up 0.88%), HDFC Bank(up 0.88%), Tata Motors(up 0.74%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.66%) and ICICI Bank(up 0.59%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Hindustan Unilever(down 2.82%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 1.69%), Nestle India(down 1.35%), Asian Paints(down 1.16%), SBI Life(down 0.97%), Reliance Industries(down 0.83%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.82%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.82%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.81%) and UPL Ltd(down 0.71%) were trading in the red.
