    Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

    NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Monday.

    These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Damodar Ind(14.65%), Ashiana Ispat(13.79%), VSF Projects(13.51%), Indo-City Info(12.45%), Orient Beverage(11.84%), Aptech(11.55%), Lime Chemicals(11.5%), Birla Cable(11.28%), FIEM Industries(11.11%) and Igarashi Motors(10.71%).

    The 30-share Sensex ended 760.37 points up at 54521.15, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 229.3 points up at 16278.5.

    In the Nifty 50 index, 42 stocks ended in the green, while 8 stocks closed in the red.

    Meanwhile, stocks such as Superhouse Ltd, Maruti Interior Products Ltd., PSP Projects, Aether Industries Ltd. and Lumax Auto Tech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Sprayking Agro Equip, Vikas Proppant & Gr, Veerkrupa Jewellers Ltd., Silver Pearl Hospitality & Luxury Spaces Ltd. and Eastcoast Steel touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
