Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 11:16AM

Aries Agro(up 13.73%), Bohra Industries(up 4.92%), Agro Phos(up 4.89%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 4.37%), G S F C(up 2.55%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 2.28%), ZUARIAGRO(up 2.09%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.96%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 1.76%) and Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 1.42%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 1.72%), Coromandel International(down 0.68%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.13%) and KRISHANA(down 0.05%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 8.85 points up at 18141.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 35.9 points at 60963.33 at around 11:16AM.

Titan Company Ltd(up 3.03%), UPL Ltd(up 1.84%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.48%), NTPC(up 1.42%), Maruti Suzuki(up 1.36%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.31%), Coal India(up 1.2%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.12%), Bajaj Finance(up 0.84%) and Grasim Industries(up 0.82%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv(down 0.83%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.82%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.72%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.57%), Reliance Industries(down 0.57%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.52%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 0.47%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.47%), Infosys(down 0.45%) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.45%) were trading in the red.
