ā¢ State Bank of India has announced its intention to acquire a 20 percent stake in SBI Pension Funds, currently held by SBI Capital Markets.
ā¢ The deal, valued at Rs 229.52 crore, will raise SBI's ownership to 80 percent, with SBI Funds Management retaining the remaining 20 percent.
ā¢ As of October 30, 2023, SBI Pension Funds had assets worth Rs 3.83 lakh crore and a net profit of Rs 35.03 crore.
