Participant wise F&O Activity on NSE on 22-Sep-23.
Market took a little pause on the weekly closing day but ended with a negative close + heavy bearish candle on weekly charts.
FII added shorts and retail added more to their longs, PROs maintained their bearish stance from the day before.
DII maintaining short positions in index & stocks as before however those mostly looks like a hedge to protect the position in cash.
In stocks FII covered few shorts, clients maintaining bullish positions as before, while PRO are longs in future but with short in options as hedged positions.
