Participant wise F&O Activity on NSE on 18-Sep-23.
After marking ATH close on weekly basis market took a breather today and along with that erased all of the gains of Friday (all the major indices).
FII reduced longs slightly, covered few shorts and retail added more shorts.
DII maintaining short positions in index & stocks as before however those mostly looks like a hedge to protect the position in cash.
PROs keep on changing their stance, friday net short in futures but today again they changed and now net long, neutral in index options.
In stocks FII added fresh shorts after covering shorts in huge volumes on friday, clients maintaining bullish positions as before, while PRO are longs in future but with short in options as hedged positions.
