A life high close for Nifty & highest weekly close for banknifty, both the indices rising up sharply after marking their recent bottom in august.
FII added longs, covered shorts and retail added more shorts.
DII maintaining short positions in index & stocks as before however those mostly looks like a hedge to protect the position in cash.
PROs keep on changing their stance, currently net short in futures but neutral in imdex options.
In stocks Futures FIIs went on to cover shorts in significant quantities, clients maintaining bullish positions as before, while PRO are longs in future but with hedged positions in options.
