Tata Motors
#TATAMTRDVR posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 4,450.92 crores against a net loss of Rs 8,437.99 crores last year.
Net loss of the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) segment stood at 110 million pounds.
Axis Bank
The net profit of #AXISBANK was up almost 94% to Rs 2,160.5 per share. Net interest income was up 11.1% to Rs 7,760.27 crores.
Gross NPA was up by 0.15% to 3.85% from the January to March quarter. It was at 4.72% last year.
#SBILIFE
The net profit of the company was down 43% to Rs 223 crores.
The company said that there was a 1.28 times increase in the number of life insurance claims reported from the end of the previous financial year to the end of the June quarter.
L&T
Larsen & Toubro’s #LT net profit jumped almost four times to Rs 1,174.44 crores.
Revenue was up 38% to Rs 29,334.73 crores.
Order wins for the quarter rose 13% to Rs 26,560 crores.
#SBIN
Vijay Mallya has been declared bankrupt by the London High Court. An SBI-led consortium had earlier led the efforts to declare Mallya bankrupt for failing to clear the debt of around Rs. 10,700 crores.
#HUDCO
The Indian Government is selling an 8% stake in Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) through an offer for sale (OFS) today.
