Mid-market update - Europe Stocks Steady as Investors Mull Stimulus-Package Talks

· European stocks were steady as investors assessed a vaccine-fueled rally earlier this week, while policymakers and leaders clashed over further stimulus in Europe and the U.S. FTSE, CAC and DAX Index gained 0.3% each.

· Asian market witnessed mixed bag. Hong Kong and South Korea Index gained 0.3% each while Japanese shares fell nearly half percent for the third session in a row to close in red as investor sentiment remained weak amid rising COVID-19 cases in the country.

· Brent Oil is poised for a third weekly gain in New York as positive Covid-19 vaccine developments outweighed concerns about more restrictions stemming from a global surge in infections. Brent Crude gained one percent at $44.5/bbl

· US Future declined nearly half percent.
