Activist Manoj Jarange to launch indefinite hunger strike if govt fails to grant Maratha quota by Oct 24
Activist Manoj Jarange has threatened to begin a fast unto death protest on October 25 if the Maharashtra government does not grant reservation to the Maratha community by Tuesday. Jarange stated that political leaders would not be allowed to enter villages until the reservation demand is met. He called on all villages to join the indefinite hunger strike and urged Marathas to participate in candle marches to show support.
