He criticized the BJP for holding fake protests on the issue and accused them of depriving the youth of jobs. Patole alleged that the BJP and former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were behind various recruitment scams and the exodus of industries from the state. He also claimed that the BJP's attempts to blame others for the issue of contract recruitment were misleading.
