Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has responded to the affidavit of businessman Darshan Hiranandani, questioning its credibility and alleging that it was drafted by the PMO. Moitra also raised doubts about why Hiranandani would sign a letter on white paper unless coerced, given his access to ministers and the PMO. She further claimed that Hiranandani was compelled to sign the letter under threat from the PMO. Moitra also accused the BJP of trying to malign her and scare those close to her.
