ā¢ IndusInd Bank has announced its collaboration with Indraprastha Gas Limited to enable customers to make payments using the digital rupee, India's own Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
ā¢ The Digital Rupee solution is available on both iOS and Android platforms, offering features such as peer-to-peer and peer-to-merchant payments with complete UPI QR interoperability.
ā¢ The state-owned Bank of Baroda aims to increase the CBDC user base to 10 lakh over the next three to four months.
