Cyclist Javaregowda was hit by a car near Rockview junction by a speeding car driver on October 10 at around 7.30am. With a right leg fracture and injury to his buttocks, he is recuperating at Hamilton Hospital.
"It was a two hour surgery last evening, and I will be discharged today," said Javaregowda to Residents Watch. "I can sit but cannot walk around. I am tied to the hospital bed."
According to Javaregowda, when he was cycling towards Somasundrapalya from 27th Main and came near Rockview junction, a speeding car (number KA-51 AB3025) hit him from behind. The cab driver stopped the car and brought him to this hospital. "He paid Rs 10,000 to the doctor and asked him to take care of me," said Javaregowda. "He has not returned since yesterday. He's a good person; others would have run away! Just my destiny. I can't blame anyone."
