ā¢ Seven companies, including Tata Elxsi, Adani Power, and Voltas, will be removed from the BSE 100 index on December 18, while seven others, including Yes Bank and TVS Motor, will be added.
ā¢ The changes are a result of the reconstitution of several BSE indices, including S&P BSE 100, S&P BSE SENSEX 50, and S&P BSE SENSEX Next 50.
ā¢ Previously, the BSE Sensex index saw a change following the merger of HDFC and HDFC Bank, with JSW Steel replacing Housing Development Finance Corporation on the benchmark index.
