The Indian Air Force is planning to order 156 more Prachand Light Combat Helicopters from HAL, as part of the government's 'Make in India' initiative. These helicopters will be deployed at both the China and Pakistan border by the IAF and the Indian Army. The IAF has already inducted 15 of these helicopters in the past 15 months.
