Eicher trucks and buses, a subsidiary of VE Commercial Vehicles, has partnered with Amazon to introduce up to 1,000 zero-emission electric trucks for Amazon's delivery operations in India over the next five years. As a first step, Amazon will deploy 50 Eicher electric trucks in major hubs like Delhi, Manesar, and Gurugram in the coming months.
