Bitcoin drops under $20,000 mark
The price of the world's biggest cryptocurrency fell below $20,000, its lowest point since mid-July. Bitcoin is currently down 13.21% in a month and 59.35% in a year. The digital coin's volatility seems to follow a wider trend of market uncertainty amid ever-rising inflation and interest rate hikes.
Bitcoin plunged 1.53% at 6:27 pm ET and sold for $19,941. Ether was down 2.45% at the same time, going for $1,471.
