Stock market holiday: BSE, NSE to remain shut on Monday on account of Gurunanak Jayanti

In the entire calendar year, the market has 15 annual holidays in 2023, two more than last year. This year four market holidays fell on Saturdays and Sundays which are non-trading days in a week. Mahashivratri, Id-Ul-Fitr (Ramzan Id) and Muharram were observed on Saturdays and Diwali on Sunday

• Indian stock markets NSE and BSE will be closed for trading on Monday, November 27 on account of Gurunanak Jayanti.

• The Nifty is expected to end the week flat, while Bank Nifty is over 1% lower on a week-on-week basis.
