SpiceJet has disputed the merit of an application by Wilmington Trust SP Services to start insolvency proceedings against SpiceJet. Wilmington cited unpaid rental fees allegedly owed by the airline to Aircastle (Ireland). However, SpiceJet denied the debt claim and said it was not an operational creditor to Wilmington, but rather to Aircastle.
