The Hubble Space Telescope has observed planet AU Mic b, which is located outside of our solar system, being stripped of its hydrogen atmosphere by energy outbursts from its star, marking an unexpected phenomenon. AU Mic is home to one of the youngest planetary systems ever observed, as its star is less than 100 million years old.
