Leading automakers in India, including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Tata Motors, witnessed a double-digit increase in dispatches to dealers in April 2023, as demand for SUVs remained robust. Maruti Suzuki's domestic passenger vehicle wholesales surged by 13% to 137,320 units last month and the SUV's market share rose to 21% from 12.6% in April 2022.
