Apollo Hospitals has acquired a partially built hospital in Sonarpur, Kolkata with a total capacity of 325 beds. The acquisition, worth Rs 102 crore, is being fully funded by Apollo Multi Speciality Hospitals. The hospital will offer high-end specialties including comprehensive oncology services with radiotherapy. This acquisition strengthens Apollo's position as the largest healthcare provider in the eastern region, with over 1800 beds across Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, and Guwahati.
