Here is one important thing to note about GIFT NIFTY in case you missed it.

Unlike SGX Nifty, GIFT Nifty resets every morning. If SGX Nifty indicated an 80-point gap down the previous night, and this morning, the if the value was negative 90 points, it means we can expect a 90-point gap down.

In the case of GIFT Nifty, since it resets every morning, if it indicates an 80-point gap down the previous night and in the morning, there is a 20-point gap up, that means there will still be a 60-point gap down.

This used to confuse me in the beginning. I am sure most of you have already figured it out. Just in case you missed it, here is how it works
