The Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange have removed three Adani group firms from the ASM or additional surveillance framework: Adani Transmission, Adani Green Energy, and Adani Total Gas. The ASM framework is intended to enhance market integrity and protect the interests of investors. Certain criteria, including volatility, volume variation, and price, led to the move. The exit from the MSCI Global Standard Index is expected to lead to outflows worth $201m for Adani Transmission and $186m for Adani Total Gas, with both companies expected to lose 18 million shares.
