Cannot say. As of now trend seems to be reversing. Monday will be actual confirmation if the short term bearishness will go away or not. Nifty and banknifty both in murky waters

Zerodha has also issued a clarification. Btst trades are allowed. On squaring off btst trades 60% of proceeds can be used in fno and whole proceeds can be used to buy other equity cash. So basically same thing I said. Need to have 40% margin total to execute cash btst trades
Bhai from what I have confirmed from local brokers they say earlier no margin was required for cash equity. Now 20 percent is required to buy or sell. If you buy today and have no additional margin then you can sell only after settlement but if you have equal margin as buy margin...

Update : No clarity on btst trades. Most people saying btst trades now stopped but my broker says it's still active with new margin rules. Please do your own due diligence
