For me, momentum is when monthly RSI is not between 40-60.

I can tell you how I trade swings. I trade only those stock having RSI (M) above 60, this ensures momentum. After that, I just trade fresh breakouts with small sl and big targets. Maintain a excel sheet for the same with some automation.
Aap discretionary trades krte honge i think, isliye ye problem aa rhi hai. Apni strategy ko 100% backtested and rule based kr dijiye. Ye problem nhi aaygi.
No. It’s the difference between yesterday closing and today’s current price/closing price. For example: nifty kal k closing k comparison me 57.7 points minus me band hua.
Learn to take best decisions irrespective of their results.
First learn basics and start with any simple strategy and improve it thru back testing.
Start with basics. Like learn about free float, bid ask analysis, mkt/limit/SL/GTT orders, gaps, circuits etc. then candlesticks, support resistance, patterns etc.
