If you had sold the stocks in MIS (Margin Intraday Square off) mode then it would get automatically squared off at 3:20pm/3:25pm by the broker at whatever price the stock was at that time.
P.S.: I mean it's obvious you would have sold it in MIS mode only as we can't short Stocks ...
