Yesterday, the Nifty opened the day with huge gap down after which we saw good recovery of around 300 points from the lows. Still Nifty closed 114 points down from previous close.

For today, Nifty may open flat to positive note. 16800 is a level which has become a very strong support. On the higher side, 17200 - 17300 is a resistance. Volatile session is expected..

For the Bank Nifty, immediate resistance is now at 37700. Till the time the Index trades below this level, the bears will rule and can take the Index to test 37200 – 37000 which is the next support zone.
