Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of TRF Ltd, Hindcon Chemicals, LT Foods, Tata Investment and Bharat Gears, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:20AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 112.85 points to 17957.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as MEP Infrastructure, Sportking India, Alembic Pharma, Sanofi India and JFL Life Sciences Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 20 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, NTPC, Power Grid, SBI and Shree Cements were among top gainers, while Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, HCL Tech and Wipro traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 403.92 points down at 60167.16 at 11:20AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Holding Company, Telecommunications, Electric/Electronics, Cement and Cables sectors, while selling was visible in Metals - Ferrous, NBFC, Miscellaneous, Term Lending Institutions and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
