Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 3.87 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.71 crore), Indian Oil Corp.(number of shares traded: 1.55 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 1.38 crore), ONGC(number of shares traded: 1.05 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 0.83 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.80 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 0.73 crore), Ashok Leyland(number of shares traded: 0.66 crore) and RBL Bank(number of shares traded: 0.59 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 33.7 points up at 15832.8, while BSE Sensex was up 153.02 points at 53179.99 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.69 per cent), State Bank of India(up 1.26 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.21 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 0.94 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 3.48 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 2.28 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 1.02 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.97 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(down 0.85 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
