    Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

    Synopsis

    In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks ended in the green, while 34 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

    NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Thursday.

    These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Ind Renewable Energ(13.75%), AdityaBirlaMoney(12.45%), Dr. Lalchandani Labs(12.22%), Indo Amines(12.15%), Pan Electronics(11.49%), Rites(10.57%) and Prerna Infra(10.5%).

    The 30-share Sensex ended 390.58 points down at 57235.33, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 109.25 points down at 17014.35.

    In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks ended in the green, while 34 stocks closed in the red.

    Meanwhile, stocks such as Zenith Exports, Apollo Micro Systems, Astec Lifesc, Advait Infratech and Alstone Textiles hit their fresh 52-week high, while Wipro, My Money Securit, S M Gold, Alan Scott Industrie and Sharika Enterprises touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
