Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Motor Gen Fin, Marathon Nextgen, Automotive Axle, Rolex Rings and Imagicaaworld Entert, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:05AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 16.4 points to 15735.65 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Parsvnath Dev., Andhra Cements, Uniinfo Telecom Serv, Bombay Rayon and Viceroy Hotels, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 18 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid, ITC, ICICI Bank and HCL Tech were among top gainers, while JSW Steel, ONGC, Hindalco, Tata Steel and Cipla traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 9.19 points up at 52917.12 at 11:05AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Retail, Paper, Defence and Tobacco sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment, Gas & Petroleum and Metals - Ferrous sectors.
