Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Shares of Kotyark Industries Ltd., Autoline Ind, Cool Caps Industries Ltd., CSL Finance and Metro Brands Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:45AM(IST)on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 62.95 points to 17460.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Vaxtex Cotfab, Zensar Tech, Birla Tyres, Future Enterprises and Future Retail, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 24 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, HDFC Bank, NTPC, Hindalco and Axis Bank were among top gainers, while BPCL, SBI, Britannia, Divis Labs and UltraTech Cem. traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 260.47 points up at 58648.40 at 10:45AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Aquaculture, Agro Processing, Telecommunications, Defence and Fertilisers sectors, while selling was visible in Metals - Ferrous, Gas & Petroleum, Auto Ancillaries, Pharmaceuticals and Cables sectors.
