Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Hindustan Foods, Omaxe, Navkar Corp, International Constructions Ltd. and Automotive Axle, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:21AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 35.5 points to 16640.75 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Future Retail, Unitech, MIC Electronics, Jump Networks and Radhika Jeweltech, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 27 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, UPL, Eicher Motors, Kotak Bank, Titan Company and HDFC Bank were among top gainers, while Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, BPCL and Tata Consumer traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 99.28 points up at 55781.23 at 11:21AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Leather, Fertilisers, Apparels and Gems and Jewellery sectors, while selling was visible in Gas & Petroleum, Auto Ancillaries, Pharmaceuticals, Engineering and Learning & Education sectors.
