Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, MIRC Electronic(19.6%), Ritesh Prop(19.37%), Shanthi Gears(18.0%), Gautam Gems(15.38%) and Sportking India(15.32%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 257.43 points up at 59031.3, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 86.8 points up at 17577.5.

In the Nifty50 index, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 12 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Nikhil Adhesive, SecMark Consultancy, King Infra Ventures, PTC Industries and Markolines Traffic Controls Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Milestone Furniture, GVK Power Infra, S M Gold, 8K Miles Soft and Sanofi India touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
