    NTPC awards Amara Raja Power Systems with a project of setting up India's first green hydrogen fueling station in Leh, Ladakh. The project is being set up at a height of 3600 mts above sea level with a temperature variation of - 14 degrees to +20°C

    National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) has awarded Amara Raja Power Systems a project to set up India's first green hydrogen fueling station in Leh, Ladakh. The project aims to bring in emission-free transport in and around Leh with a plan to ply five hydrogen fuel cell buses in the region.

    Furthermore, the project is being set up at a height of 3600 mts above sea level with a temperature variation of - 14 degrees to +20°C

    To get into the nitty gritty, the Green hydrogen will be produced by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen, using electrolysis process powered by electricity generated by renewable energy sources.
