ReutersNEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 1362.39 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 1282.00 crore), IndusInd Bank(Rs. 1172.36 crore), Infosys(Rs. 949.63 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 917.99 crore), Persistent System(Rs. 903.53 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 785.64 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 718.09 crore), Asian Paints(Rs. 692.20 crore) and Tata Steel(Rs. 660.93 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 57.5 points down at 18107.85, while BSE Sensex fell 187.31 points to 60858.43.
In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd.(up 3.27 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 2.08 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.68 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.04 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.95 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 3.70 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 2.69 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
