Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 2468.90 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 1655.59 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1542.82 crore), RIL(Rs. 1303.30 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 1255.21 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 1227.06 crore), SBI(Rs. 997.30 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 928.32 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 821.64 crore) and HDFC Bank(Rs. 777.95 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:27AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 46.4 points down at 17557.95, while BSE Sensex was down 107.06 points at 59223.84 as of 11:27AM(IST)on January 30.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 4.88 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 3.26 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.79 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.61 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(up 1.89 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 3.67 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.82 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.54 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 2.36 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 2.18 per cent) were among the top losers.
