Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Motherson Sumi(Rs. 163.61 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 44.06 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 27.13 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 24.22 crore), L&T(Rs. 19.46 crore), YES Bank(Rs. 17.81 crore), RIL(Rs. 16.38 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 14.33 crore), Adani Transmission(Rs. 13.26 crore) and Tata Steel(Rs. 10.66 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 62.35 points down at 16909.8, while BSE Sensex was down 213.08 points at 57342.82 as of 10:19AM(IST)on March 16.

In the Nifty index, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 4.25 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 2.90 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.07 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 1.95 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.90 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Tata Steel Ltd.(down 3.77 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 3.72 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.24 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.39 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent) were among the top losers.
