Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lumax Auto Tech, Apar Industries, Latteys Industries, International Constructions Ltd. and Orient Bell, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:50AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 138.05 points to 16187.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as JIK Industries, Suumaya Lifestyle, Karda Const, Vikas Proppant & Gr and Bombay Rayon, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 39 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Hindalco, UltraTech Cem. and TCS were among top gainers, while HDFC Bank, Britannia, HDFC, M&M and BPCL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 436.35 points up at 54197.13 at 10:50AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Defence, Telecommunications, Metals - Non Ferrous, IT Software and Paper sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Media & Entertainment, Gas & Petroleum, Auto Ancillaries and Pharmaceuticals sectors.
