Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Expo Gas Cont(20.0%), Ashoka Metcast(20.0%), Aksh Optifibre(20.0%), PAE Ltd(20.0%), Lykis Ltd(20.0%), Fermenta Biotech(20.0%), Dr. Agarwals Eye H(20.0%), Birla Cable(19.99%), Hardcastle Waud(19.99%) and Suzlon Energy(19.98%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 442.65 points up at 59245.98, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 126.35 points up at 17665.8.

In the Nifty50 index, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 14 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as PAE Ltd, Lykis Ltd, SKM Egg Prod, Celebrity Fash and Kranti Industries hit their fresh 52-week high, while A F Enterprises, FutureLifestyleFash, S M Gold, Mehai Technology and Bombay Rayon touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
