Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 21.76 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 10.90 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 8.20 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 7.09 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 5.68 crore), Tata Motors(numbers of share traded: 5.40 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 4.60 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 3.70 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 3.55 crore) and IDBI Bank(numbers of share traded: 3.13 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 187.05 points down at 17914.15, while BSE Sensex ended down 631.83 points at 60115.48.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 5.41 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 3.24 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 2.91 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.48 per cent) and State Bank of India(down 2.07 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
